What does ASP do for us?
Having looked at how the web server handles ASP, we've nowstudied its physical workings in as much detail as we will need for thepurposes of this book. We've ascertained that ASP is actually an ISAPI DLLloaded onto your web server that allows server-side scripting. But this doesn'ttell you about what ASP does, or how it manages the interaction between serverand browser. Now let's take a look at all the different pieces that ASPprovides us with and start considering what they may be used for.
